ICRF Collects Backpacks & School Supplies Liberian Schoolkids

We're collecting backpacks and school supplies kits for our students in Liberia. Our goal is to collect 1,500 students in 4 schools.

Many thanks to our CEO, Mr. Harrison Kpartipa of the Irene Christina Reinking Foundation, Liberia and supporting partners for providing several backpacks for our underprivileged students. We are grateful for everything you continue to do to put smile on the faces of our students who can not afford. It can be recalled that mid last year you brought in several dozens of copybooks and distributed them among students of the Gboawuta public school through the principal and now you are again packing another consignments of backpacks for our kids who can not afford in order to provide learning opportunity for all. The renovation of the Gboawuta public school is another incredible opportunity for students of Gbarwuta in District #4 Bong County. We are grateful!🙏🙏🙏

Your Support Matters! Support Our Cause
"When I was growing up in my village Gboawuta, there was no school, however, all the kids from my village walked to the next village approximately 7.5 miles away, we did that all years round. Knowing the value of education, I think no one should walk that many miles to go to school. Based upon that we decided to establish this elementary school in Gboawuta village for all kids to stay in the village for their primary education. Please connect us with people who have interest in our dream to support these young children by donating to our school project. You can channel your donations through the Irene Christina Reinking Foundation".

Harrison Kpartipa's Dream

The Ebola virus hits close to home for one Corridor man.Harrison Kpartipa works to send money back to his hometown of Gboata, Liberia. On Sunday, Trinity Lutheran Church in Tipton held a fundraising luncheon to raise money for food and supplies."I ask you guys to continue to pray for me and my dream," Kpartipa said.Kpartipa's dream when he moved to the states was to become educated."I tell you I don't want to be President. I just want to be a farmer," he said. But his dream now, is to help his people, "to create more food for people in Liberia and change the dynamic of making farming in Liberia."Kpartipa wants to re-establish his father's plantation and provide opportunities for his village. So far, Ebola has not hit his village, but it's creating a huge problem."They are experiencing and feeling the blowback from economic development, the inability to travel," Mike Herring said.Harrison's village is not dying from the virus, but from the lack of food.Liberia imports 90% of their food which comes from surrounding countries. Some of those countries have been hit hard by Ebola."These people are in a hard spot," Trinity Lutheran Church Council Member Les Schneckloth said.Liberians don't make enough to put food on the table. In fact, they make 35 cents per hour.Church members wanted to help so they decided to hold the fundraiser and make Kpartipa's dream, a reality. "I thought we ought to"

"With God, anything is possible. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good."
